Not so long ago, I read an article that suggested describing a story or book you’re writing in one sentence. This is a marketing idea, and the purpose of the one-sentence summary is to help people instantly know whether they are in your target audience.
This, to be fair, is something I’ve struggled with for one reason or another. But here is what I have come up with so far, for the first Dissent book…
Centuries from now, during a new ice age, a woman in her thirties fights for her place amongst a group of renowned warriors, whilst living in one of three surviving human colonies.
